Media Network - redefined.
Here is an interesting view into Yahoo. I thought the excerpt below was an interesting sign of the times. The party is not over … the evolution continues. Traditional media is responding (note my previous post re:CBS/Last.fm). If someone has the Back to the Future 2009 [media] Almanac… I would love to get a glimpse!
Sphere: Related Content…Broadcast television reaches more people in a single hour; 6 million viewers at a time will tune in to the CBS Evening News. But over the course of a month, the online portals are providing news to more people.
That means that aggregators like Yahoo!, MSN and AOL are becoming this generation’s power hubs for news, commanding the attention that the networks did in their heyday.
